Christmas will come early this year at the LSU Rural Life Museum’s annual Christmas celebration.
Costumed re-enactors and artisans will perform various activities like candle making, soap making, blacksmithing, rosary crafting and doll making. Nineteenth century yard games, wagon rides and storytelling will continue throughout the day. The celebration will conclude with a traditional bonfire.
“A Rural Life Christmas” will be held at the Rural Life Museum on Sunday, Dec. 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission costs $7 per person, and children under 10 years old are admitted for free.
