The Northgate Merchants Association will host its annual North Gate Fest on Friday in the North Gate area from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The festival will host a 2.5 mile fun run. Students can register early for $15 online at northgatesoflsu.com or for $25 at the event which starts at 4:30 p.m. The race begins at 6 p.m.
Ashes of Babilon and The Givers will perform live music.
Food, art, crafts and beer trucks will also be available at the North Gate Fest.
