LSU freshman swimmer Craig Hamilton was named the Southeastern Conference male swimmer of the week on Tuesday, after winning the 1000-yard freestyle and the 500 free against Auburn.
This marks the second-straight weekend an LSU swimmer takes home the award.
“Craig is definitely performing well for this time of the season,” said LSU head coach Adam Schmitt in a news release. “I know he will look to continue to improve with each meet. He will face some more tough competition in our next meet, but if he continues to race, he will have good results.”
