Joe Coussan, mass communications senior, is the Oct. 20 “Eye on Excellence” student winner.

Coussan, who maintains at 3.71 GPA, serves as president of the Manship College Council and chair of the College Council Presidents’ Commission.

He is also a member of Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society and public relations committee associate chair for the LSU Ambassadors. Coussan is also a Manship Ambassador and member of

the Public Relations Student Society of America.

Coussan participated in the PRSA Bateman Competition, and his team won national honorable mention.  He also served as campaign manager for the Watkins-Scheuermann ticket for Student Government president and

vice president.
