Senior Nicole Kantor and sophomore Whitney Wolf ended their run in the singles quarterfinals today at the ITA Southern Regionals in Auburn, Ala.
Kantor fell to Ole Miss sophomore Kristi Box, 6-2, 6-3. Box was No. 25 in the preseason rankings.
Wolf lost to Alabama sophomore Courtney McLane, 6-0, 6-3. McLane was No. 61 in the preseason rankings.
“Nicole and Whitney played some very good players today,” said LSU women’s coach Tony Minnis.
