LSU junior tennis player Sebastian Carlsson won his quarterfinal match but lost in the semifinals, 6-1,6-3, to cap his run at the ITA Southern Regionals in New Orleans.
Sophomore Neal Skupski and freshman Stefan Szacinski both lost their doubles quarterfinals match, 9-7.
Senior Nicole Kantor and sophomore Whitney Wolf led the way for the Lady Tigers at the ITA Southern Regionals in Auburn, Ala. Kantor and Wolf won their singles games in the round of 64 and followed that with wins in the round of 32.
Freshman Kaitlin Burns won her match in the round of 64 but lost in the round of 32.
Kantor and Wolf fell as a tandem in the doubles quarterfinals.
Singles action continues Sunday for Kantor and Wolf.
