LSU senior setter Sam Dabbs has been named Southeastern Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.
Dabbs racked up 49 assists in LSU’s 3-0 sweep against No. 6 Florida in the PMAC this past Sunday. The Tigers beat the Gators for the first time since 1991.
The San Antonio native also collected 34 assists in LSU’s win against South Carolina this past Friday in the PMAC.
LSU stays at home this weekend to face Arkansas on Friday and Ole Miss on Saturday.
