LSU senior middle blocker Lauren DeGirolamo has been named Southeastern Conference Defensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.
DeGirolamo racked up 16 digs in each of the Tigers’ two previous matches against Kentucky and Tennessee. She also collected nine blocks against the Wildcats on Saturday.
LSU hosts both Georgia and Auburn this weekend in the PMAC on Friday and Sunday, respectively.
