The LSU soccer team was ranked No. 14 in the first NCAA RPI rankings released on Monday, fresh off a weekend when the Tigers beat Alabama and Auburn.
LSU is 4-0 in the SEC for the first time in program history and have a 2-1-1 record against teams currently in the Top 50 in the RPI.
The Tigers get their first chance to defend their ranking this Friday against Kentucky.
