The LSU men’s tennis team captured six wins Friday on the first day of the University of South Florida Invitational in Tampa, Fla.
Junior Sebastian Carlsson, sophomore David Roberts and freshmen James Turbervill and Stefan Szacinski all recorded singles victories, while Szacinski teamed up with sophomore Neal Skupski to win their Flight 1 doubles match and Roberts joined with junior Cody Loup to win their Flight 4 match.
Skupski was upset in Flight 1 singles by USF’s Jamal Adderley, 6-2, 6-3.
The Tigers resume play Saturday at 8:30 a.m.
