Former LSU baseball and current Toronto Blue Jays second baseman Aaron Hill won the MLB’s Comeback Player of the Year Award on Tuesday, according to MLB.com.
Hill hit .286 with 36 home runs and 108 RBI one year after suffering a major concussion.
“I really did want to prove everybody, not wrong, but just know that I could be back and I’m fine,” Hill said during a conference call on Monday. “That was the main goal. That was really the only goal this year.”
