The University’s annual Fall Fest will feature a compost and recycling effort this year.
The event, which will take place Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Quad, will have more than 40 booths representing campus groups and local businesses. Fall Fest will feature free food and performances by The Golden Band from Tigerland and the LSU Golden Girls.
Students will be encouraged to recycle their waste at the event, and organizers worked with Fall Fest partners to ensure everything possible be made from compostable or recyclable goods, according to a University news release.
