The LSU soccer team’s five-game unbeaten streak came to an end on a rainy Friday night in Lexington, Ky.
Kentucky junior forward Giuleana Lopez scored the game’s only goal just two minutes before halftime to give the Wildcats (4-6-3, 1-4) a 1-0 win against the Tigers (8-2-3, 4-1).The win was Kentucky’s first in Southeastern Conference play this season, while it served as the first SEC blemish for what was a streaking LSU team.The Tigers will look to rebound Sunday afternoon against Vanderbilt.
