BATON ROUGE (AP) — Gov. Bobby Jindal is heading to California to raise money for his re-election campaign.Jindal’s press office said the governor is attending two fundraisers on Thursday: one in Fresno and another in Pacific Palisades.Jindal spokesman Kyle Plotkin declined to release information about who’s hosting the fundraisers. He said that information would be available from campaign finance reports, which are due next year.The governor is scheduled to return to Baton Rouge on Friday.Jindal has attended a string of out-of-state fundraisers this year. The other trips have taken him to Texas, Missouri, North Carolina, Arkansas, Florida, Illinois and Massachusetts.The governor’s campaign fund topped $3 million by the end of 2008, according to the latest campaign finance report he’s filed with the state ethics board.Jindal is up for re-election in 2011.—-Contact The Daily Reveille’s news staff at [email protected]
