Following wins this weekend over South Carolina and then No. 6 Florida, LSU senior setter Sam Dabbs was named American Volleyball Coaches Association Player of the Week.
Dabbs is the first Tiger in school history to garner this award from the AVCA.
“It’s a huge honor,” Dabbs said. “But I couldn’t have done it without my teammates.”
In the Tigers two matches last weekend, Dabbs tallied 83 assists, 20 digs and eleven kills.
