The Greater Baton Rouge State Fair is here until Nov. 1 to satisfy cravings for fried food and carnival rides.
The fair opens today and features a more than 40 rides, traditional fair food and various genres of musical entertainment daily.
The GBRSF is located on Airline Highway, seven miles south of I-12 at the fairgrounds.
Tickets, which include gate admission and a “ride all the rides” wristband, cost $20. General admission costs $5.
