Forest Hill High School point guard Andre Stringer has committed to LSU, according to Rivals.com.
The Scout.com three-star recruit narrowed his decision to LSU, Alabama, USC and Miami before choosing the Tigers.
Stringer is the reigning Mississippi Mr. Basketball and Gatorade Player of the Year. He averaged 25 points, seven assits and four steals his junior season for Forest Hill.
The 5-foot-9-inch, 170-pound point guard is the fourth member of LSU coach Trent Johnson’s 2010 recruiting class. Guard Ralston Turner and forwards Matt Derenbecker and Jalen Courtney have already pledged to the Tigers.
