LSU men’s tennis sophomore Neal Skupski fell to Jason Jung of Michigan in the third round Friday, ending his run at the D’Novo All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla.
Jung, who entered the match as the No. 41 singles player in the country, edged Skupski in a three-set thriller, 6-4, 3-6, 6-4.
Skupski and junior Sebastian Carlsson were bounced from the second round of the doubles portion of the tournament, losing 8-6 to Tennessee’s Boris Conkic and John Patrick Smith.
