The LSU football team’s position in the Associated Press Top 25 and USA Today Coaches’ Top 25 polls remained unchanged after a 31-10 victory against Auburn on Saturday.
LSU sits at No. 9 in both polls. The Tigers were also No. 9 in last week’s AP and USA Today polls, as well as the initial BCS standings.
Florida is No. 1 in both the AP and USA Today polls. The Gators fell to No. 2 in the AP poll last week but have regained the top spot in both rankings.
Alabama is No. 2 in the polls, while Texas sits at No. 3 and USC sits at No. 4. Cincinnati is No. 5 in the AP poll, while Boise State is No. 5 in the USA Today poll.
Boise State, Iowa, TCU and Oregon round out the top 10 in the AP poll. TCU, Cincinnati, Iowa and Penn State are the remaining teams in the USA Today’s top 10.
Check back later for more details about national rankings when the BCS standings are released later this evening.
