The 13th Gate — Baton Rouge’s biggest haunted house located on Saint Phillip Street — opens today at 6:30 p.m.
Hauntworld magazine named The 13th Gate the No. 1 haunted house in the nation for the second year in a row.
The haunted house consists of 13 themed indoor and outdoor areas ordained with the spookiest of displays and portrayed with more than 100 professional actors.
The 13th Gate will be open Thursday, Friday and Saturday Nights until October 17, then from Oct. 22 to Oct. 31, the house will open every night until “the last victim gets in.”
Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door. General admission costs $20. Thursday night tickets from Sept. 24 to Oct. 17 cost $15. VIP tickets, which allow guests to cut in the line, cost $30 online and $40 at the door.
