According to foxsports.com, New Orleans Saints left tackle Jammal Brown will miss at least the first five games of the season after undergoing hip surgery on Thursday.
Brown, who was named to the Pro Bowl last season, has started 58 games since being drafted in the 2005 NFL Draft.
Jermon Bushrod will start in Brown’s place.
