Minors around the LSU campus have another thing coming if they think they’re going to drink illegally.
“During football season we end up with a lot more arrest during fall then the spring and summer sessions,” said captain Russell Roge’, LSUPD.
Minors who receive a minor in possession not only face a legal charge, but they can also receive a university citation.
“Some cases we just need to do some education or we’ll make a referral to a team class or may have them take an online module to help them learn about the choices they’re making,” said Eric Norman, Associate Dean of Students.
Last year 119 people were arrested for MIP on LSU’s campus.
