BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Gov. Bobby Jindal’s ban on state spending involving troubled community activist group ACORN has stopped two possible contracts in the Department of Social Services, the governor’s office announced Tuesday.Jindal barred state agencies last week from entering into any contracts with the group and required that state agencies report any current contracts or contracts under consideration with ACORN to the governor’s office.No existing contracts have been found.
