The New Orleans Hornets continued an active offseason and finalized a trade late Wednesday night that will send reserve guard Antonio Daniels to the Minnesota Timberwolves for forward Darius Songalia and guard Bobby Brown, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune.
The report also says the Hornets will send a second-round draft pick in the 2014 NBA Draft to the Timberwolves in the trade.
Daniels was Chris Paul’s backup last season, but was made expendable when the team drafted UCLA guard Darren Collison in the NBA Draft in June.
Songalia has averaged seven points per game in his six-year career.
