NEW ORLEANS (AP) — A nonpartisan research group has joined the state ethics board in calling for changes to ethics laws Gov. Bobby Jindal pushed through the Legislature in 2008. On Thursday, the Public Affairs Research Council of Louisiana said Jindal and the Legislature should ask the Louisiana Law Institute — a group of lawyers, law school faculty and other experts — to examine the law and suggest revisions.
