ISLAMABAD (CNN) – The U-S envoy to Pakistan met with Pakistan’s foreign minister today in Islamabad to discuss security.
Richard Holbrooke says Pakistan has made strides in its fight against terrorism.
He cited operations in the Swat Valley, where the military had regained control from the Taliban.
Holbrooke says the U-S will provide more equipment to the Pakistani military to help them in their efforts.
A furlough is required, unpaid time off. A staff member’s salary would be reduced by the amount of time they were furloughed.
