(CNN)– The National Association of Realtors reports home sales in July posted the largest monthly increase in the last 10 years.
Much of the credit is being given to first-time home buyers taking advantage of a temporary $8,000 tax credit.
It’s the fourth straight monthly increase.
That’s raising hopes that the housing crisis may be loosening its grip.
