BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a 14-year-old student for bringing a gun to school.
Deputies say the load .380 semiautomatic hand gun was found Monday in the student’s book sack after it was reported by another student.
Authorities said the Robert E. Lee High School student told deputies he found the gun at his bus stop.
Deputies booked with student with carrying a firearm by a student on school property.
