Ocean Springs High School tight end Travis Dickson, brother of senior tight end Richard Dickson, has committed to play football at LSU, according to Scout.com.
The four-star prospect plays tight end, defensive end and fullback for Ocean Springs. He collected 80 tackles and averaged six yards a carry his junior season.
Travis Dickson had offers from many schools including Auburn, Florida State, Ole Miss and Mississippi State. His father played at Mississippi State.
Travis Dickson told Scout two big factors in his decision were familiarity with LSU coach Les Miles and tight end coach Don Yanowsky as well as Saturday nights in Death Valley.
The 6-foot-3-inch, 228-pound prospect is the 22nd 2010 commitment and the second tight end in the class.
