LSU’s 2010 recruiting class has moved to No. 4 in the Scout.com team rankings after recent updates.Skyline (Dallas) wide receiver Mike Davis has been bumped up to a five-star recruit, and St. Augustine (New Orleans) cornerback Tyrann Mathieu was moved to a three-star. The 22 commitments put the Tigers’ class at No. 2 nationally according to Rivals.com and No. 6 on ESPNU.com.Freshman safety Craig Loston reported for the first time to practice today after meeting NCAA eligibility requirements, making all of LSU’s 2009 class officially academically eligible. “We’re excited to finally get Craig on the field,” Miles said in a news release. “We figure he’ll be a very productive part of what is a very talented class.”Four LSU commits for the 2010 class have been named to the Times-Picayune preseason All-Metro Team.Defensive linemen Houston Bates and Elliott Porter and defensive backs Tyrann Mathieu and Ronnie Vinson made the list.
