Students, faculty and staff who paid for their parking permits prior to Aug. 6 can expect to receive them within the next few days, said Gary Graham, director of Parking, Traffic and Transportation.
Those who paid for their parking permits after Aug. 6 should pick them up at the Office of Parking, Traffic and Transportation.
“We normally give a week after school starts for everybody to get their permits,” Graham said. “[Students will] have until Aug. 30 as long as they are legally parked in a student zone.”
Unless the due date for payments is moved up, Graham said the permits will continue to be mailed in the last week before classes start because of the time it takes to run the data and get the permits printed. He recommended students, faculty and staff keep the 2008-09 parking permits on their cars until they receive new ones.
