BATON ROUGE (AP) — A former East Baton Rough Parish sheriff’s deputy has been sentenced to 10 years in prison. Twenty-eight-year-old Larry Wright, of Zachary, was convicted of attempted possession with the intent to distribute cocaine, as well as possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking offense.
