New requirements set forth by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools require universities throughout the South to submit interim reports five years following the accreditation process.According to Stacia Haynie, vice provost of Academic Affairs, LSU’s interim report is due in March 2010, and the University is beginning preparations now.The University was accredited in 2004, and will go through the accreditation process again in 2014, said Haynie.——Contact Lindsey Meaux at [email protected]
