Information Technology Services and Student Life are working to ensure students hoping to watch today’s inauguration ceremonies of President-Elect Barack Obama will have no shortage of options to view the historic event.The ceremonies will be televised beginning 9 a.m. in the Information Commons and the Faculty Technology Center on the first floor of Middleton Library, the main entrance of the Student Union and the West entrance of Himes Hall courtesy of ITS. Additionally, Student Life will begin televising the ceremonies at 10 a.m. in the Cotillion Ballroom of the Union.To ensure students are able to access the ceremonies from any location, ITS is making it available through streaming video accessible from www.lsu.edu/its.—Contact Lindsey Meaux at [email protected].
