Running back prospect Dexter Pratt has reportedly pulled back from his commitment to LSU.Pratt’s high school coach, Lee Fedora, told KZNE radio in College Station, Texas, the four-star recruit will be taking official visits to other schools — including one this weekend — despite his verbal commitment to the Tigers.
Pratt’s only official visit during his original recruiting process was to Baton Rouge. Pratt is visiting Oklahoma State this weekend, according to Texas A&M’s Rivals.com site.
Fedora also told a Texas television station LSU was still pursuing Pratt, but the running back had told him the Tigers were likely out of the picture.The 6-foot-2-inch, 227-pound back graduated from Navasota High School in Texas in December and was reportedly enrolling at LSU for the spring semester.Rumors began to circulate earlier this week Pratt was having trouble receiving approval to enroll from the NCAA Clearinghouse.Pratt also has scholarship offers on the table from Ole Miss, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Southern Miss, Texas and Texas A&M, according to Rivals.com.
