The University of Alabama’s football program may be forced to vacate several wins from the 2006 and 2007 seasons, The Associated Press reported Thursday.
The NCAA will hold a teleconference later Thursday to announce its decision, according to the report.
The allegations against Alabama include improper disbursement of textbooks and “failure to adequately monitor” textbook distribution, according to the report.
The violations allegedly occurred during the 2005-2006 school year and into fall 2007.
The teleconference is scheduled for 2 p.m. and will be held by the NCAA’s Committee on Infractions.
Alabama’s football program was also put on probation Feb. 1, 2002.
