The LSU baseball team will host Rice in the NCAA Super Regional round this weekend following Rice’s win against Kansas State on Monday.The Tigers and Owls will open the best-of-three series at 6 p.m. Friday on ESPN.The second game is set for 4 p.m. Saturday on ESPN, and the third game is scheduled for 6 p.m. Sunday if necessary on ESPN2.Three other Southeastern Conference teams also made the Super Regional round, as Arkansas, Florida and Ole Miss won regionals this weekend.—-Contact The Daily Reveille sports staff at [email protected]
