Florida wide receivers coach Billy Gonzales will join the LSU staff in the same role, according to several reports.
Gonzales would fill the spot left vacant by D.J. McCarthy, who resigned on Wednesday. McCarthy has been linked to a possible violation involving the LSU football team.
The move by Gonzales has been reported by Scout.com and the Orlando Sentinel, who is also reporting that Gonzales will become LSU’s passing game coordinator.
