Four LSU players received selections to the Associated Press postseason All-Southeastern Conference teams Monday.
Senior tackle Ciron Black was the only Tiger to earn first-team distinctions after earning second-team honors in 2007 and 2008.
Senior wide receiver Brandon LaFell earned second-team honors after catching 52 passes for 705 yards and 10 touchdowns. LaFell earned first-team honors in 2008.
The LSU defense also featured two post season award-winners, as sophomore cornerback Patrick Peterson and junior safety Chad Jones each earned second-team honors.
Senior running back Trindon Holliday received honorable mention for his work on special teams.
Newly-crowned SEC champion Alabama almost swept the individual awards, with sophomore running back Mark Ingram winning Offensive Player of the Year, junior linebacker Rolando McClain earning Defensive Player of the Year and Nick Saban winning Coach of the Year.
