Tennessee wide receivers coach Frank Wilson is being considered for the running backs coaching job at LSU, Glenn Guilbeau of Gannett news reported Thursday.
Wilson would replace Larry Porter, who was named Memphis’ head coach last Sunday.
Wilson, a New Orleans native, is in his first season as receivers coach at Tennessee and used to be the head coach at O. Perry Walker High School in New Orleans in 2003.
Wilson was considered for a coaching position on the LSU staff in 2003 but didn’t get the job, according to the Gannett story.
