During its spring exhibition, the LSU women’s soccer team defeated Southeastern Louisiana 8-1 on Thursday.
Freshmen Jade Clarke helped her team to victory when she scored a goal before the half, but said she felt like her team played great.
“We were able to pass the ball around to get great shots and great goals,” Clarke said.
In his eleventh season as the team’s head coach, Brian Lee thought his team did well but still have somethings to work on.
“Spring soccer is always different than fall. We’re working on seeing different people at different spots,” Lee said. “I thought tonight was a good step forward in our third spring game.”
Junior Jordane Carvery felt as though her team worked hard and because their spirits were up they were able to get some goals.
The Tigers next home game will be April 1 against Louisiana Tech.
