Head Coach Paul Manieri was pleased with the way the LSU Tigers performed this weekend, especially his pitchers.
The Tigers won Sunday by a score of 9-2.
“I was really proud of our three starting pitchers, I think they did a tremendous job,” Manieri said after the Tigers won all three of their games this weekend.
This bodes well for the team as they are coming off a rough patch previously, losing three out of four games last week.
But with 22 scoreless inning from their starting Pitchers in 3 games, the team looks poised as SEC play starts next week.
“It is really fun to watch them pitch,” said senior second baseman Cole Freeman said about the starters this weekend.
The Tigers will face Louisiana College Tuesday Night, first pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
