LSU’s Residence Hall Association hosted its annual RHA Crawfish Boil Wednesday night to celebrate another successful year with on campus residents.
The 459 Dining Hall helped RHA host an event where students enjoyed an evening with friends, free crawfish and a variety of other food.
“There was really everything you could imagine,” Camille Flint, LSU RHA President, said.
The RHA event planners work hard to make experiencing the event more than just eating free food for the students. The event is a time for students to meet new people, make new friends, and to help students make LSU their home.
“I was here last year just as a resident, and it’s so much fun to get to know everyone, dance to the music, and play fun games,” Flint said.
LSU freshman Jalen Davis said he is grateful for RHA because he moved away from home to attend LSU, and events like the annual RHA Crawfish Boil help him make LSU feel more like home.
“Ever since I’ve joined, I’ve never looked back. It’s been a great experience, and I’m glad I did this. I’ve learned so much, and I’m very thankful for the opportunity they’ve given me,” Merrill Boyer, LSU freshman and RHA member, said.
RHA is proud to create another great experience for students and to celebrate another year of success with its final event for the Spring 2017 semester.
