Wednesday afternoon saw 18 former Tigers take part in LSU’s Pro Day. After the workouts finished center Ethan Pocic, safety Jamal Adams and Leonard Fournette all spoke about their workouts and their decisions in taking the next step.
Jamal Adams had the biggest moment of the day when he ran an unofficial 4.33 40 yard dash on his first and only run.
“I did have something to prove for myself in the 40, and that was to come out and run a faster time. Adams said.
“I know at the combine 4.5 wasn’t me. I definitely put my mind to it and I had a great outcome.”
Leonard Fournette weighed in at 228 lbs. down 12 lbs. from the NFL combine.
“I just wanted to show everybody that I can lose the weight” Fournette said when asked about his weight loss.
“It really doesn’t matter. I’m going to play good any way I want to.
“I put up some solid numbers [at the NFL combine] and I just wanted to stick with those numbers.” Center Ethan Pocic said about his day.
Next up for the players will be the NFL draft on April 27th to the 29th.
