“I didn’t shut things down like I should’ve,” said LSU softball pitcher Carley Hoover after the Tigers lost to Penn State 7-3.
“We have a lot more to give and whenever we figure out how to put that together, people should watch out,” Hoover said.
LSU had a one-run lead going into the third inning when they gave up five runs to the Nittany Lions.
“It makes me excited to play them again tomorrow.”
The Tigers play Penn State again tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. They play McNeese State at 3 p.m.
