LSU Emergency Operations Center sent a broadcast message to students around 11:30 a.m. cancelling the shelter in place alert. The University had sent out several updates to students throughout the morning as the tornado warning was extended.
LSU tweeted that classes are not cancelled, but students should email professors if they cannot attend.
