On Tuesday, former LSU basketball player Antonio Blakeney was called up from the NBA’s G-League.
Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg called up Blakeney after starting guard David Nwaba suffered an ankle injury.
During the 2016-17 season with LSU, he averaged 17.2 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game.
Blakeney was unselected in the 2017 NBA draft, but earned a two-way G-League contract with the Windy City Bulls after a productive summer. In his season debut on Saturday, Blakeney scored 35 points. His career high during two seasons with LSU was 32 points.
