BATON ROUGE – Four LSU students had their apartment at Sterling Burbank broken into twice during the month of September.
The women had personal belongs stolen from the main area while they slept just feet away. Two of them also had their car stolen.
When asked about the incidents a representative for Sterling Burbank said:
“This is an open investigation with the Baton Rouge police department and facts are still being gathered. We continue to meet with local law enforcement to address any modifications we can make in response to the alleged incident. At Sterling Burbank our residents remain the top priority and we will continue to focus on providing the best living experience.”
The women have since moved out of Sterling Burbank and advise those looking for an apartment to remain cautious and always keep their doors locked.
