BATON ROUGE- LSU president King Alexander released a statement Thursday evening banning Greek life from using alcohol until further notice.
Alexander said Greek, alcohol related events would not be reinstated until the GreekTask Force finds a better way to prohibit dangerous behavior. The task force will meet again in January 2018 to decide whether the ban will stay intact.
This decision came as a result of the death Phi Delta Theta student Maxwell Gruver.
