The Tigers have floundered to a 3-2 start after starting the season ranked 13th in the nation. They’re coming off an historic loss to Troy, and have clear issues to address.
One of those may be with the team’s mentality.
“I feel like some people on this team don’t understand what it means to be a LSU Tiger,” LSU LB Devin White said. “When you a Tiger, you got the whole state of Louisiana depending on you.”
Granted, it doesn’t seem like the Tigers were underestimating Troy.
“I know Troy’s not a SEC team, but its a team that is very well respected,” LSU DL Christian LaCouture said. “They played well together last year and this year.”
Now, they face a quick turnaround as the Tigers prepare to go into the Swamp this Saturday when they face SEC-rival Florida.
